Our Lab To Ensure High Quality Asphalt

Quality Control has been an integral part of Tazewell County Asphalt. Our Quality Control Department includes our Illinois state-approved testing laboratory, that is equipped to provide a full range of at plant-testing services and job site tests including, Hot Mix Asphalt design (HMA), volumetric asphalt properties (maximum specific gravity, bulk specific gravity, air voids, AC content), and on-the-job nuclear density readings.

With our full time staff, Tazewell County Asphalt performs daily plant tests, weekly aggregate stockpile gradations, and on-the-job density readings, all to ensure we produce the highest quality Hot Mix Asphalt available.
